Will my plugins still work?
Yes. We do not block plugins. We do warn you about known-bad ones and quarantine known-vulnerable versions until you update — but every plugin you can install on a vanilla WordPress will install here.
How does auto-scaling work?
Each site sits behind a LiteSpeed front-end pool that grows from 1 to 24 workers based on RPS and queue depth. Origin PHP-FPM scales independently, all in single-digit-second increments.
What happens during the migration?
We pull a copy of your site (DB + uploads), spin it up on a temporary subdomain, you preview, you flip DNS. Most migrations finish in 24 hours and are completely free, even on the Solo plan.
Can I edit wp-config.php?
Yes. SFTP, SSH and WP-CLI are all available on Studio and Commerce. Solo is locked down for safety but exposes the WP_DEBUG, mail and CDN flags through the dashboard.
How are backups handled?
Hourly to a separate region (5-minute on Commerce). One-click restore puts you back at any point in the retention window. We test-restore every backup nightly so you never discover a broken one.
What about visits over the limit?
We do not throttle or take your site down. You get a friendly email at 90% of plan, and any overage is billed at $0.10 per 1k extra visits — no surprise five-figure bills.
